I'm very glad to see this site. I'm from Poland - borned in Warsaw. I started diving in 1986 (I was 8 years old), here, in Varna thanks to my uncle Georgij. I have big sentiment to Blac Sea, and to Varna. I hope meet here some interesting people and some information.
So...
1. What do I need arriving to Bulgary for diving (what kind of documents). I talking about freediving and technical diving.
2. Is still in Varna working Preassure Chamber or where is something like that?
3. Where i can't find some dive centers in Varna to load Air, Nitrox and Trimix to my cylinders?
4. Where I can find some materials about wrecks, expeditions on this wrecks etc.

 Jakub Bulgaria now is like the wild west.You don`t need any papers - at least nobody will disturb you but if somthing happens only god can help you.Black sea now is not like you remember it when you was 8 now it`s so dirty that you litteraly will bump your head in the bottom .Days when you can see more then 2-3 meters are very rare.Sorry but that`s the situation here.

Hi Jakub,

The people who really do a tech and wreck diving are BSTD Exploration Team. Their site is not available for the moment because they are working on it.
The BDS ( Bulgarian Diving Schools )are working in cooperation with BSTD. The BDS site is [link] , you will find out more info about the tech courses there. One of their manager is a polish guy,very good technical diver. They are working with the best equipment in Bulgaria. There is a base in Sozopol, soon will be in Balchik too.
